There is a gene that makes people fat! But, this shouldn't be use as an excuse to NOT exercise. Just the opposite, it means that they SHOULD!!!

Quick Weight Loss
On listening to commercial radio for the first time in a while I heard an ad for Quick Weight Loss Centers. The ad states that you can lose lots of weight fast with NO EXERCISE!!! How ANYBODY can promote this is beyond me. The DJ who is spokesman for this is just being irresponsible. People, PLEASE don't get caught up in this. Diet is very important to your wieght loss but exercise is also. It is also, possibly, more important in keeping the weight off as muscle burns 3 times the calories that fat does. So when you exercise and build a base of muscle it is much easier to keep the resultant weight loss off. If you lose weight just by diet (usually under eating) you will lose you rmuscle base and slow your metabolism. Then when you go back to eating 'normal' size meals, you will gain your weight back in greater fat volume!
